The first race on the former B-17 military training base was held on New Year&#8217;s Eve in 1950.  Since then, Sebring has acquired a remarkable motorsports history with just about every race series and driver adding a chapter or two. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sebring&#8217;s flat, 3.7-mile, 17-turn road course is SVRA&#8217;s spiritual home and vintage race cars are at the heart of this event. This year, the Historic Trans-Am racers are featured and will help celebrate the establishment of the Trans Am Hall of Fame at the place where Trans Am began in 1966, Sebring International Raceway. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to racing, the SpeedTour event offers a lot to see and do. All SVRA entrants are invited to a Saturday banquet and 2024 SVRA awards celebration.  The weekend also hosts a Hagerty Cars and Caffeine car show and an OPTIMA Search for the Ultimate Street Car event.
