2026 Racing America @ VIR

Experience 850 hp Trans Am cars, classic Corvettes, Alfas, Porsches, Historic F.1 and Indy cars racing on this legendary track. Racing America @ VIR provides the opportunity to get up close to celebrated drivers, legendary race cars and much more. The SpeedTour is an event for the whole family so join us for the full weekend; one day won’t be enough! Racing America @ VIR features racers and cars from Trans Am, Sportscar Vintage Racing (SVRA), International GT (IGT), FR & F4.

Virginia International Raceway is located just outside of Danville, Virginia. The 3.27 mile historic track offers 17 turns, numerous elevation changes and long straights in a park-like setting.

Featuring

America’s Road Racing Series – The Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli offers a feast for the eyes and ears with two races featuring 70+ cars with fields populated by Mustangs, Camaros, Challengers, Corvettes and more in five classes: TA, TA2, XGT, SGT and GT.

The Sportscar Vintage Racing Association (SVRA) is the largest and one of the oldest Vintage racing organizations in the United States. Historic racing cars, restored to original racing specs with modern safety equipment for driver protection, compete on historic race tracks.

Ligier Junior Formula Championship (Ligier JFC) is the first step on our open-wheel ladder, allowing racers age 14 an up to gain experience in single-seater racecars and prepare for the FIA ladder. Ligier JFC allows drivers to develop their skills and learn the basics while competing on the most cost-efficient ladder system in North America.

Formula 4 United States Championship (F4 U.S.) is America’s first step on the Road to F1 and the FIA development ladder. The championship was created to offer young racers from around the world the opportunity to take the first step from karting into single-seater racing.

Formula Regional Americas Championship (FR Americas) is America’s second step on the Road to F1 and the FIA development ladder. Formerly known as F3 Americas Championship, FR Americas is open to competitors ages 16 and up.

The North American racing series includes three championships where late-model Porsche and Ferrari drivers compete on track at the same time for individual class honors in their own and exclusive International GT run group.

Open to all classic, vintage, exotic and collector cars of interest, you are invited to display your car at some of the greatest historic race tracks in the country and take part in the popular touring laps around the track in your show car.
